Tuesday, Sept. 19: Tormented and sold into slavery by his brothers, Joseph eventually embraced his brothers with forgiveness and kindness. Pray to be filled with the same spirit of forgiveness and compassion that filled Joseph, that there be no room in us for hatred, vengeance or rejection of people we feel have harmed or offended us.
