Friday, Feb. 23: We ask God to keep us focused on the cross, not as a religious object, work of art or cultural symbol but as a clear reminder of what God has done for us through the life, suffering, death and resurrection of God’s son, Jesus Christ – our very real hope and salvation, God’s gracious gift for humanity.
