Daniel G. Beaudoin, Findlay, Ohio, was reelected June 3 to serve a second six-year term as bishop of the Northwestern Ohio Synod of the ELCA. The election took place during the synod assembly June 3-4 at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.

The bishop was reelected on the first ballot, with 216 votes. A total of 195 votes was needed for election.

Beaudoin has served as bishop of the Northwestern Ohio Synod since 2016. Prior to becoming bishop, he served as pastor of St. John Lutheran Church in Stony Ridge, Ohio, from 2004 to 2016, and as pastor of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Edon, Ohio, from 1996 to 2004.
