About

Three Sides is a monthly podcast featuring stories from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). As a church that believes God is calling us into the world – together, Three Sides will present diverse voices from across the ELCA. Listen as we share unique stories from the many expressions of this church.

  • From our members whose lives are grounded in faith, love of God and neighbor.
  • From our congregations that work every day to share the love of Christ with all God’s people.
  • From our global companions and partners that join us as we work to build up Christ’s church throughout the world.

Shanna Crawford

Shanna Crawford serves as director for accounting with the Mission Investment Fund of the ELCA.  She appreciates having a position with the financial ministry of the ELCA that affords her the opportunity to serve and to assist ELCA congregations, ministries and their members with their financial needs. Shanna loves sports, music, talking and a good sense of humor.

Phil LaDeur

Phil LaDeur serves as program director for education and curriculum development with the ELCA Mission Formation team. Phil’s greatest passion is to create programs where kids and youth are free to be themselves, explore their interests, and have the space and time to listen to God.

Andrew Steele

Andrew Steele serves as director of ELCA Global Church Sponsorship, a vocational dream come true. His knowledge of airport codes is second to none, as he’s often seen on the road away from his Chicago home. While Andrew’s not working, he’s probably rooting for the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles or playing a round of golf somewhere.
