Based on the speed and thoroughness of the culture change we have seen in the last 20 years or so, we can conclude one thing for sure: The church of the future will look much different from the church we have known. The ELCA’s question is: “Can we anticipate these shifts and adapt our church to meet them so we can faithfully continue our mission to bring the gospel of Jesus to God’s people?”
