Thursday, Dec. 22 “Restore us, O God; let your face shine, that we may be saved” (Psalm 80:3). Give thanks for God’s mercy and favor, which grant us new life and hope—not because we deserve it or have lived good lives but because God is gracious and generous beyond human comprehension.
