Every day, Living Lutheran offers a prayer from the ELCA resource Prayer ventures, which can be downloaded here. These daily petitions are offered as a guide for your own prayer life as together we pray for the needs of the world and give thanks for the ministries of our church.

Wednesday, Dec. 13 We pause during the busyness of the holidays and pray for our neighbors in need, especially those experiencing suffering, poverty, war, recovery from disasters and displacement from their homes. We. pray that they will find relief, hope and renewed strength in the certainty of God’s attention and love, evidenced in the gift of Jesus Christ and reflected in our concern, response and advocacy.
