Tuesday, April 9 Dietrich Bonhoeffer, theologian (1906-1945)  We remember and give thanks to God for people throughout history, such as Bonhoeffer, who are driven by their faith and convictions to stand against injustice, evil and violence toward others, even in the face of personal threats and death. We ask God for the courage and boldness to act when our neighbors are threatened or treated unjustly.
