Saturday, Sept. 6 The 2025 Churchwide Assembly elected Yehiel Curry to serve as the next presiding bishop of the ELCA. May the Spirit strengthen his faith, gifts and wisdom as he leads our church in its mission to share the good news of Jesus Christ, reflect God’s abundant love and mercy for the world, and serve our neighbors in need.
