Following the shooting at Umpqua Community College where a gunman killed nine people and injured seven others, Faith Lutheran Church, Roseburg, Ore., held a vigil Oct. 1. At presstime, Jane C. Baker, pastor of Faith, said the community was invited to the vigil to be “with one another and to pray for families, students and everyone involved. Tonight we look to God.
