Study guide: Alaskan village tries to preserve its culture

Residents of Shishmaref, Alaska, may be our country’s first “climate refugees”—people forced to leave their homes because of rising seas attributed to climate change. But they probably won’t be the last, as scientists predict the effects of a warming trend will continue.

Download a study guide for “Climate change: Alaskan village tries to preserve its culture,” which first appeared in Living Lutheran’s April 2017 issue. The pdf includes a copy of the article and four pages of discussion questions.
