Courtney Wilder teaches at Midland University, an ELCA institution in Fremont, Neb., and lives in Omaha with her partner. She earned her PhD at the University of Chicago. She has two young adult children and her research interests include theology of disability, Christianity and popular culture, and the ethics of food.
