Tuesday Intentions

Today we are sharing a few prompts to encourage you during your personal spiritual time. We hope this collection will inspire you to be kind to yourself and others as you move through your week.

Scripture
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid. You heard me say to you, ‘I am going away, and I am coming to you.’ If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I. And now I have told you this before it occurs, so that when it does occur you may believe” (John 14:27-29).

Prayer
Gracious God, you grant us your peace even when we feel your absence. Calm our troubled hearts and ease the fear felt by bodies, so that in your settling grace, we might become instruments for your peace and presence. —Bread for the Day 2026, p.148

Hymn
“Deep Peace” (ACS 1018)

Practicing peace
Set aside 10-20 minutes this week to spend meditating in a peaceful place. Whether in nature, at your church or in the public library — wherever you feel calm — begin making space in your schedule for these moments of peace as you’re able, and start incorporating them into your week or daily life.
