Prayer for Oct. 3

Every day, Living Lutheran offers a prayer for the day from the ELCA resource “Prayer ventures.” These daily petitions are offered as a guide for your own prayer life as together we pray for the needs of the world and give thanks for the ministries of our church.

You can download a pdf with the monthly “Prayer ventures” here.

Saturday, Oct. 3 We ask God to stretch our understanding of who our neighbor is. We pray that we will show up and respond to anyone in need or suffering, be they a sibling in Christ, a friend, a stranger or someone far away.
