Wednesday, Sept. 21: Matthew, apostle and evangelist Matthew grew from being a distrusted tax collector to being a fervent believer in Jesus Christ, follower and public witness. We pray our lives will also be transformed through faith to make us spirited witnesses to God’s powerful love and presence in the world.
