Today we are sharing five prompts to help inspire your personal spiritual time. Take a moment to reflect on the following and journal your thoughts.

  1. Scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:8: “And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work.”
  2. Prayer from Bread For The Day: Giver of gladness and good counsel, you bring fullness even amid scarcity. We lift up to you our communities and all who struggle while working for the benefit of others in need. Give them encouragement.
  3. Journal prompt: In this season of my life, how can I lean into my community and find healthy support? How can I offer support to someone in my family or community?
  4. Hymn:In Thee Is Gladness,” (ELW, 867).
  5. Gratitude in action: This evening, set a timer for at least five minutes and do something that is relaxing for you. Whether relaxation looks like an evening stroll, making tea in silence, or playing soft music while you breathe deeply in your rocking chair, make space to relax. As you do, count all the things you are grateful for. Thank God for those things.
