Christians shouldn’t attend same-sex weddings, even of their own children, because it signals “moral approval” of the union, said Albert Mohler, president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Ky., in his book We Cannot Be Silent, released this fall. Gay-rights activists and some clergy have denounced the book, saying it will further divide people and their families.
