Today we are sharing prompts to inspire you during your personal spiritual time so you can set your intentions for the weekend ahead. Take a moment to reflect on the following and journal your thoughts.
Scripture
“The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. The Lord is good to all, and his compassion is over all that he has made. All your works shall give thanks to you, O Lord, and all your faithful shall bless you. They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom and tell of your power, to make known to all people your mighty deeds and the glorious splendor of your kingdom” (Psalm 145:8-12).
Prayer from Bread for the Day 2026, page 206
Loving God, your compassion is inexhaustible and your forbearance awakens us anew every morning. Enliven us to rejoice in your unfathomable mercy and to sing of your exquisite tenderness to our groaning world.

Journal prompt
As we head into a new month, take five minutes to reflect on how you spent the month of June. What do you want to bring into July? What do you want to leave behind?
Faithfulness Collage (Craft)
Each day throughout the month of July, write down at least one thing you’re grateful for—whether in a journal, on a scrap of paper or in your phone notes. As the month unfolds, gather images, symbols or small objects that represent these moments of gratitude.
At the end of the month, set aside time to bring together your photos, drawings and trinkets to create a collage. Let this physical, tangible piece of art serve as a reminder of what brings you joy, how you’ve experienced God’s faithfulness and the positive gifts present in your life.
This collage can also become a visual reminder that when we look for glimpses of God’s presence and steadfast love, we can find them all around us.
