Every day, Living Lutheran offers a prayer for the day from the ELCA resource “Prayer ventures.” These daily petitions are offered as a guide for your own prayer life as together we pray for the needs of the world and give thanks for the ministries of our church.
You can download a pdf with the monthly “Prayer ventures” here.
Friday, Nov. 6 We remember in prayer members of the ELCA Leadership Circle as they witness God’s work firsthand in Poland, Hungary and Slovakia. Pray for our partners in Central Europe, including the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hungary, the Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in the Slovak Republic and the Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in Poland. We give thanks for God’s work of justice, compassion, peacemaking and nurturing leaders, which is furthered through generosity and global partnerships.
