Every day, Living Lutheran offers a prayer for the day from the ELCA resource “Prayer ventures.” These daily petitions are offered as a guide for your own prayer life as together we pray for the needs of the world and give thanks for the ministries of our church.

Saturday, Sept. 26 We pray for young adults who provide short- and long-term service to our church, our communities and the world through congregational ministries, outdoor ministries, disaster relief organizations and other groups (including Lutheran Volunteer Corps, Urban Servant Corps and Young Adults in Global Mission). We give thanks that they respond to God’s call to serve by sharing their faith, compassion, gifts and hunger for justice.
