Prayer for July 30

Every day, Living Lutheran offers a prayer for the day from the ELCA resource “Prayer ventures.” These daily petitions are offered as a guide for your own prayer life as together we pray for the needs of the world and give thanks for the ministries of our church.

Thursday, July 30 “Lord, I will lift mine eyes to the hills, knowing my help is coming from you. Your peace you give me in time of the storm. You are the source of my strength. You are the strength of my life” (ACS 1080). We lift up prayers of thanksgiving and praise to God for being an ever-present and dependable source of strength, courage and hope, particularly in times of struggle and crisis.
