Prayer for Oct. 11

Every day, Living Lutheran offers a prayer for the day from the ELCA resource “Prayer ventures.” These daily petitions are offered as a guide for your own prayer life as together we pray for the needs of the world and give thanks for the ministries of our church.

You can download a pdf with the monthly “Prayer ventures” here.

Sunday, Oct. 11 We ask God to help us go beyond the walls of our sanctuaries as we serve our neighbors in need and invite others to follow Jesus Christ. We ask the Spirit to stir our trust in God’s ability to use our unique gifts, skills and passions for ministry, especially when we doubt ourselves.
